“ Lovely country pub in a beautiful village. First time we have visited as we wanted something to eat. Friendly customers and very nice lady busy serving drinks and waitressing. “ We came for lunch on a bank holiday and it was virtually deserted! So much so that the staff didn't seem to be expecting any customers and things took a little bit longer than they should have done in terms of service. BUT the food when it came was delicious, reasonably priced, plentiful portions! Waitress was absolutely lovely and very apologetic when a few things were going wrong. We also met the lovely big dog who lives there! We felt the pub was decorated very tastefully and it was a shame to see it so empty. ”
